	"FROM THE HOUSE OF DAVID" While the color is not correct in these frames, I wish only to show the detail. The Piece stands just over 15" tall and about 9" wide at the base. The cross is hand forged from a piece of steel cable encased in powdered tool steel and forge welded to make a bar from which the cross was cut. One single, solid bar, cut and split to form a cross. The cable that can be seen in the acid etched metal, runs from the bottom to the top of the cross. This symbolizes the roots of Christianity from its Jewish heritage. The Jewish roots are symbolized by the "Star of David" cut from pecan wood and inlayed with a sky blue Lapis stone and mother of pearl, the colors of the Israeli flag.
